hey everyone im new to the mrc scene but here is my start ... metal lockers, removed battery tray, relocated shocks to frame, metal knuckels, have 4ws for it but waiting on servo, bent lower links, custom steering setup, lowered body some ... tell me what you think |

thanks for the feedback, steering arm is actually one of my old lower links that i bent and forgot to metion also has a JR metal servo 98oz tq

well, thanks for the idea on the steering, I will be copying that today... I have been thinking of a way to do what you did, and just couldn't come up with anything... thanks to you tho, It looks like im gonna be doing some building today. bitchin |

Welcome. You made that stock link work for you! Twisted. Great job on the mods. If you get bored, you could make four link plates for the axles; and links, for the new plates, of course. If you've a few local resources, you can fairly easily do it. |

ya i will post some better pics of the steering when i get back home... upgraded a couple more things, finally got my hitec 645 back and installed, added some weight, got some axial beadlocks, some rock basher tires and losi threaded aluminum shocks Last edited by rickysb; 08-09-2009 at 01:23 PM. how did you bend your link for the steering arm. i am setting the steering like yours and i was trying to bend the link and it broke.

well here are a couple hopefull better shots for everyone .... 1. first what i did was took the knuckles and flipped them 180 deg. ( may have to swap sides like i did with the metal knuckles ) 2. then i put the stock steering link on the bottom so that i has clearence from the shocks and pumpkin, (you will need to source out some longer screws if you plan to use the plastic knuckles i ran a screw from bottom all way through steering arm with nut on top ) 3. i made a servo mount so that the servo sits backward 4. took a stock link bar and well eye balled where i wanted the bends and just put it into a vice and tapped it with a hammer till the bends were how i wanted them ( took out and held up to truck so that bends didnt go too far) 5. installed everything and to my suprise it worked sorry its not to much info i just kind of created it off the top of my head any questions just ask |

ya good selection, havnt had to really order anything but if you do they will ship it right to you ... havn't taken truck to there course
