Default Do I need a BEC

I have a Hitec 5645 servo, when I have it on full lock left or right the motor kinda glitches a bit. Not go stop go stop etc , more normal, slow, normal, slow etc.

Do I need to get a BEC?

If your gentle with it, and dont just act stupid, then the stock esc will handle that 5645... tho, it just doesnt supply the servo with the amount of power it needs.
Is it a neccessity, no. Will it make a big diffrence, yes.

are you sure you have your epa's set correctly?

Just get the Castle Creations BEC than you never have to worries. I had to put one on my MRC with the Mongoose Mini Crawler. set it to 6V and call it good.
