Default is there a trick to getting the yokes off?

I'm having lots of trouble disassembling many parts of this losi due to the hex heads being so small and them being installed so tight.

I'm specifically trying to get the yokes off the axles and transmission. The hex is starting to strip the set screw. Is there an easier way to remove these?

When I tried getting mine out, they did the same thing. I took a dermal to it a ground out the set screw, I was putting in the mip cvd's so I didn't care.

Hmm. If nothing, you could cut the damn things off as mentioned above, or you could also try a dab of your favorite metal adhesive/epoxy and glue the tool to the screw. If you do, don't use too much!

EDIT: perhaps you could drill it out if you have a smaller size drill but; or, use a small bit to make a smaller hole for an Allen to fit snuggly.

Sounds like they put them in with strong loctite, heat is the best way to loosen loctite. The soldering iron idea works, but if trying once fails, heat some more.

Swearing usually helps me.

On a serious note though only thing I could think of is heating it up.
