Default full size servo with lipo on front axle

Has anyone fit a full size servo with the losi 600 mah lopo next to it on the front axle. I have seen it with the mini sevo. Just wondering if I should buy a mini servo again because that is the setup I would like to run. Thanks.

Im running a hitec 645 with a mystery 900 lipo. The battery doesnt lay flat it leans up against the servo. I couldnt get a mini servo to last very long for me. I kept smoking them.

Interesting. Didnt think they would burn up that quick. The first thing I did was put a full size servo on the mini. So you dont think the HS-225 would do the job. Have to rethink my placment of stuff. Thanks!

Get a 645, stay away from the 225, it will give out. I run a hs645 with 2s1300 on top of the servo, works great.

Only problem is I run my rig slamed to the ground. And the Body is slamed on top of the DNA frame. I dont have enough room to run anything on top of the servo. The servo already hits the body. Will have to rethink something here. :?

Ya the 225's just cant cut it. I even tried a 5245 and burned that up.
A couple guys on here are even using a futaba s9551 that has 98oz of tourqe. This servo has a low profile and give you a little more room up there. BTW the 645 has 133oz of tourqe.

I have been running a Hitec 5645 with the losi lipo for a while. I did a zero ackerman mod, i run the HR wider hexes with the proline titus wheels and flat irons and my tires rub the servo and the lipo. I moved the lipo to the front upper links. heres a few pics to help eexlpian.

That looks nice man! I might try to make a plate like that. I still run the Losi crawlers so I might not run into clearance issues...And I also have the longer hex nuts so that should help. Thanks for posting the pics.
