| shorter stock springs
Been looking for some shorter springs for my stock shocks. I've read that the lst springs are shorter and might work. I currently have 3/4" limiters in my shocks and the stock springs provide too much preload, which makes the suspension very stiff. How much are most people limiting their shocks? Is 3/4" too much? |

try some TCS internals. They have soft and medium, and if give you option to go with a droop setup.

I tried a droop setup, I didn't really care for it. I didn't like the way it rode on the external limiters. And it's not a comp rig, just trying to lower COG a little for stability.

I've heard some use the spring from a pen inside their shocks instead of limit spacers. Anyone care to elaborate on that? I assume it will give the same effect as shorter shocks/springs.

Actually tried it already, but with a soft set of internal springs. Didn't like it, torque twisted like crazy. Will try the stiffer springs.

The losi Mini T springs are the exact length you need... I got the "upgraded spring pack" at my LHS for about 7.00

I run semi droop on my mini and love it. I've tried every thing I think and after many hours of trial and error I ended up with a very stable and predictable rig with no tt and very little money spent.

Tell me more about what you're running.
