| Comp chassis question
I see ads for comp chassis and regular chassis, what's the difference? What do you gain from the comp chassis'?

| a comp (or competition) chassis has been built to conform to the rules of the particular class. it has to be within a certain width and wheelbase. "regular" chassis are probably made to perform as good as possible without regard to compitition specifications. so if you're not competing, no need to limit yourself to certain specs |

I guess I should have said replacement chassis. I'm not looking to compete, I'd just like to have something that offers a few more shock mounting positions. So far I like the Skulz, Little Squirt, and the Mini-skeeter.

| Agreed. I am really surprised at how big a difference the chassis made. It is expensive, but really, really nice. That said, I am ordering a Mini Skeeter when they are in stock again as I want to check it out; well, that, and to have it for another build... |
