| servo help
I bought u used crawler and the servo was striped so i bought a Hitec HS5245MG Servo and it was messing with my speed control or somwthing. i would run for a min and everything shut down and sit there and it would come back on its driving me crazzy. I think its drawing to much power from the speed control. So i bought a stock losi servo and a differnt arm ran it for a few min and striped it im just burning money so i need to know what is a servo i should run or how to fix the Hitec HS5245MG Servo.

| Exactly. To run a other servos most people need some sort of "BEC." It basically becomes the middle man for the power being drawn from your battery (rather than your ESC), as the BEC can handle the load the servo needs. Castle Creations BEC is the popular choice and can be easily found with a search. Last edited by JeepinOR; 08-03-2009 at 10:07 PM. |
