Just got my metal center lockers! they were really hard to get in is that common? And after i put them in i did a test run and my motor was really hot after ten minutes any 1 have this problem or know why i have it? Thanks  |

Yes, the center lockers are tough to get in. I had to use a pair of pliers to get mine to fit. As for the motor being hot, I'm not sure why it would run hot, the lockers shouldnt cause the motor to run hot. Have you checked to be sure you didnt over-tighten the slipper clutch...? |

Would incorrect gear lash on the motor to trans gear cause it to get hot if it were too tight? But as to just the lockers, I don't see how that could be the problem. I'd think it was something in the setup after the lockers were replaced. Go back over everything and see if something is too tight or binding. Good luck! Mike |
