Default mamba 25

Is a mamba 25 and a 6800kv motor two much for a mrc..
Are any of you running this setup if so what did you have to do anything to your mrc to let it handle it??

I've got the 5400kv motor bolted up to the trans right now. Waiting for the L-trail chassis to put together. I'll be running 3 cell lipo so I'm curious also to this post. Either way we'll see how it goes.

there is no such thing as too much.

No seriously, if your gonna run that much then here are a few things I would suggest.
Metal locker all around (front/center/rear)
nut and bolt your axle halves together (it has become apparent that the axle halves seperate under pressure)
buy an extra set of drive-shafts (some have trouble with the stockers twisting in half) you could also just upgrade to the mip or punisher driveshafts
aluminum hexes.

Other than those few things, all i would reccommend is making sure you have your slipper set correctly.

My friend is running the Mamba 25 w/ 6800 motor. It's definitely not too much power. If anything a good amount of power. The only downside is the drag brake at maximum on the Mamba 25 is extremely weak so using a brushed motor and another ESC might be better for crawling.
