| Rear wheel steering
Hi, I'm planning on getting a Losi MRC within the next month, and I had noticed that some people have rear wheel steering on their rigs. Is this a custom mod or is it something that I could order up from my LHS? Is it hard to install into it or is it fairly straight forward? Thanks, Alex |

I dont know for sure, But i think all you have to do is get the same parts that are on the front, the axels are the same, so you need another servo, steering linkage, carrier, spindal, and a Y harness for the servos. I dont think you need a BEC if you use the stock servos, but if you use full size servos, which I and most probably recomend, then you most certainly need a BEC or else you risk frying your ESC. Hope this helps and anyone please feel free to correct me if i am wrong. |

You will need A set of knuckles A drag bar A steering link A servo A 3 channel radio (The factory reciver has an aux. input for a 3rd channel, but the radio doesnt have a 3rd channel, so if you want to use that 3rd channel then you are going to have to either get a new 3 channel radio and reciever or you are going to have to get a 3 channel spectrum radio that will bind with the stock reciever) |

but then again most people don't do rear wheel steering on them because it is not comp legal. but its totally cool if you don't do comps and just drive around. I have ben thinking about doing it myself

I was mainly just planning on crawling around in the yard and or in my room, so I don't think I'll have to worry about it being comp legal! Thanks for all of the advice everyone! -Alex |

you need to get all the stuff the others have said, but if you don't want to go buy a 3ch radio you could get a reversing y harness to run both servos off the same channel I did that before I started to do comps with it.

Yeah I have several Y-harnesses and I thought that I could just use that instead of a third channel! Thanks everyone! -Alex |
