Default Rock Zombie

I'm a newb when it comes to crawling, but I've been having a blast with my MRC. A couple months ago, I picked up a Fubar Mini Skeeter chassis from MTHead. I love the setup of it. So easy, a newb like me could put it together.

Took all these pictures on a recent trip with the wife out to Index, WA.

I'm currently running Flat Irons (vast improvement over stock) on stock rims I converted to beadlocks with some ABS. All 4 wheels have a couple good wraps of lead rope around the center. The extra weight definitely helps, but it has seemed to cut my battery life down a bit.

I was't 100% sure how to setup the links on the chassis. I'm on the fence about the geometry being different front to rear. The bent losi links are kind of a pain, and limit articulation in the rear. However, I have my stock shocks limited at a point just before they start to bind.

I have plans to put a mongoose system in it, along with a 645mg, and small lipo. It makes the most sense to do those all at once, so I'm going to be saving for awhile.

check out CKRCcrawlers.com. I got mine there for around $145. I love the power that the Mongoose system has. MAJOR IMPROVEMENT with or without Lipo!!! I would suggest running your stock motor with the Novak ESC (just for kicks) first, you'll be amazed!

The body is the Parma 1/18 50's Panel Truck for the Mini-T.

I'm sure its not the greatest comp body, but I don't comp, so I'm happy being unique!
