I have had it for about 2 months and been doing little things as i can. Last week i sucked it up and put some money in it. I sill need springs, shock oil, some body mounts, and to figure out where to put the electronics.

RCBros miXer chassis
RCBros shocks(no oil yet)
Vanquish wheels
Novak Mongoose 18.5(15t pinion)
shitty servo
RCBros Alum. diff lockers

Looks good
What wheel wideners are you using? And what is the width of your rig with the wideners?

Those would be the junfac ones and you can get them at TSC but I would not suggest running them with the shorter tire, FI's yeah but no the chisels.

Nice rig by the way

Thanks guys!!

Well i ditched the springs all together and just added a little more shock oil to get the same ride height, with a little fuel tube to limit up travel. Ground clearance is at about 1.75".

Wheel base is streached out to 8.5". I had to mount the tranny in the rear most holes so i lengthened the rear links and left the front ones. I will have to see how it works as it leans the rear shocks down more than the fronts.

The wideners put the outside of tire to outside of tire at 8". The spacers are 1/2" each so they will widen your stance by 1".

Yes it is fuel tubing, but it is not on there any more. I didn't like how the bolts going threw the chassis moved around due to the bolts not tightening up to anything. Plus it made it kind of a pain to change the shock oil. I have switched to some top shock mounts that is had lying around that the work great.

Sorry for the crappy pic but here ya go.

The inside black piece is off of an old stadium truck i had sitting around. It had Associated shocks on it. Then i just put a little piece of fuel tube on the outside to keep a little pressure. Seems to be working good so far. I did not like just the fuel tube because the shock bolt seemed to move around and was not super solid. The little black bushing threads into the bolt going threw the chassis.

actually, if you invert the shocks (mount them upside down) its easier to mount them...

I have been liking the Mixer and have been getting things worked out. On the little bolts for the upper links get nylocks (sp). The little nut that come with the kit come loose half way through a batt pack. After i lost two nuts i found some nylock nut and they have not come loose once.

I am very happy with how i have my shocks set up now. I used a set of the stock lower link ends on the shock shaft. I your using fuel tubing on the outside of the shaft you will need a little washer between the link end and the tuding or under hard compression the tube just slides over the link end.

Nice looking rig, you should look into the losi alum hexes. They are wider than stock but not to wide, unless your running taller tires them wider hexes are just gonna get ya hung up easier.

I am liking the red wideners. I run it with and without and for the rocks around here and my driving style i feel it works better with the wideners. I don't seem to get hung up on the diffs and if i do the wheel speed with the Mongoose setup pulls it over.
