Default Your Rig Weight??

Was just Curios what everyones rig was at. I had my rims fully loaded and 2 in

the rear. Now I have 3 in front and 0 in rear. Also changed the foams to the

Losi Blue Foams. Non mem. My rig is a little under 2 1/2 pounds. Seems to

crawl better...And I also love the foam setup....Was Thinking about

the Flat Irons chopped up like MR. Ed. Might as well because I have the Nova Ark

1.9 Foams on the way and they wont fit in the small tires. Thoughts?

What kinda scale did ya use to get the oz? I just put mine on a medical scale

at home...

I was able to take my car this morning to work with me and weigh it on the

postal Scale.... Everyone prob thought I was crazy with my 2.2 in left hand

and 1.9 in the right.

The 1.9 weighs an exact 2lbs 10.6oz. Was just curios what a good weight

was for the mini...Does it crawl better around this weight.....or can someone

show me success with something heaver/lighter? Thanks!

I think it dependes on your driving style and the terrain that you run on. I personally run my comp rig at 2 1/2lbs. I like mine a little light. I also have another set at 2lbs. 6 oz. that works great.

I used a digital Berkley fish scale. I just hang it from the tierod. I have it to weigh my bikes but now that i have it i have found it works great for a lot of stuff. They are not expensive either. I think it was like $25.

Has anyone actually weighed front vs. rear, left vs. right or all four corners? Not sure if it really matters, just curious.

It is a fish scale. I got it at The Bass Pro Shop down in Vegas. I use it for my bikes so i wanted a scale that was accurate. It was only $25 and it goes up to 50 lbs. I would go to a sporting goods shop and ask them for an accurate scale. Or try a "head shop", they will have accurate scales for a good price.

I just bought one yesterday at Harbor Freight for $19.00, it's a digital platform scale that runs on 110 or 4 AA's. It even has a tare function. Measures in oz's, grams or lbs up to 11lbs.

Ok so I finally made it down to the post office to weigh my rig. After some very strange looks I got and a few ackward moments that made me wish I could FART on demand I got it done.

My Mini Zero with no rims and tires is 1lb 7.5oz

With my rig with the cobra's

2lbs 15oz
front wheels are 8.3oz total wheel, rim, and weights
Rear is 3.4oz rim and tire

My rig with the Butchered Flat Irons

3Lbs .5 oz
Front wheels are 8.6oz total wheel, rim, and weights
Rear wheels are 3.8oz rim and tire

I'm guessing about 2 1/2 pounds but need to get a scale to get it right. Weighted beadlocks in front none in rear and everything else is stock..

I like your chassi and am wondering what it is. I like how open it is, would make it nice to work on everything. Where can I get more info on it?
