Default Losi mrc Stick (torsion) Chassis a.k.a Chassis X now with video

Just want to share my latest experimental chassis i got inspired by cornsnake's thread, after seeing the "Poboy", i knew i had to build or make 1 like that Onto to the pics

i first used a thin wire moulding for the chassis, it was a disaster, this happened after my mrc tumbled down a 6 foot ramp and landed front tire first

Then i found this scarp piece of moulding only its twice as thick

Used an exacto knife (new blade) for the holes, and dremel for the axle hole

With all the electronics mounted

front Articulation

Rear Articulation

Testing it outside the house

And Last, Full articulation

I was surprised how well it performed it's twice as fun as before thanks for reading any questions, comments, violent reactions are very welcome

Proof of Concept

Interesting setup. how much does your rig weight? its got to be next to nothing.

Compared to a shock and chassis setup what are your thoughts on its

capability's?

It weighs at 2.22 pounds, with 2 ounces of stick on weights for the each front tire and 1 ounce at the rear it performs better compared to my stock chassis, it climbs steeper and sidehill better and no more links to grab the rocks and best of all no more torque twist

it is it took about an hour making it from scratch, after aligning the axles, its simply a bolt on affair

You might get the torque twist back if you ever put a brushless

powerhouse in there. I would love to see it in action to see how it crawls.

very nice...I checked it out. Seems like when you lift a tire it gets a little

unstable. Wonder if there would be a way to correct this. Was surprised how

well it did though..Good job

Any way you could post measurements from this picture? (ie. space between the rectangle cutouts) ?

Thanks
