Default Has anyone shrinkwrapped the stock esc?

I seen it mentioned in the micro section so I tried it on the micro, worked pretty slick. I think if I was able to do the same thing to the mini the esc would fit a little better, it barely clears the shocks right now. So has anyone tried this or would it not work?:?

Not sure with the stock esc because of the heat release thingy. I re-wrapped my sidewinder micro...well Batteries plus did I took it to them and they wrapped it for about 2 bucks and some change

Ya I was wondering about the heat. My esc doesn't seem to get hot though, I'm still running the stock motor. I may try it, if I do I will let everyone know how it turns out

If you want to remove the heatsink, it comes off by just removing the screw on the case.

You can remove it and see if you need it.
