Best smaller tires?

I am working on a MRC scale build for a body that is borderline too small for the mini, but it's too big for a micro.. So.. I am looking for options..

The only things I have thought of for possible smaller whees/tires for the Mini are those from the Mini Slash or the Vendetta SC..

The mini slash are:
Outer Diameter: 67.5mm (2.7")
Width: 29mm (1.1")





The vendetta are:
Outer Diameter: 2.48" (63mm)
Width: .85" (21.5mm)





I have no idea if either wheel hexes will fit, or how the wheel offset will work with the chassis..

Anyone have any other ideas, or have the trucks/tires in question to see if they are compatible..?



I also need chassis suggestions.. I will probably have to make my own.. I'm going for scale.. but the wheelbase will have to be shortened by an inch or more, if that's even possible lol
