Default Servo Acting Funny

I have a full size Hitech servo on my MRC and it keeps acting up. Not sure what is causing it. It sort of flutters, if that is a good word. It will got back and forth real quick a few times, then stop, then does it again. It works okay and responds to the radio but keeps doing the fluttering thing. I am running the stock receiver and esc and the losi lipo battery. Do I need a BEC or is it maybe a programming thing or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it sounds like you need an external BEC. Does this happen when you have your motor bound up?

Watch the lights on the Esc and the Rcvr, see if your flutter happens when they go out and come back on....I think the connection on the red wire needs to be re soldered as it keeps losing power. When it comes back on the servo re centers and everything is fine.

what servo?

I have run a ht 645 on 2 trucks that didnt require a bec.
but for anything digital or high voltage you will definatly need one.

you need to throw a good esc off in it too.

that dont sound like somthing a bec would correct.

I would take every out of the rx. and check to make sure its clean.
make sure your plugs are clean and start over.
make sure that each plug is snug and not loose.

also I would make sure the antenna wire from the rx is not
rubbing around on any wires.

also does it do it with a FULLY charged battery?
and are your radio batteries good?
