Default bec questions?????

ok so im running a fullsize servo and installed the bec in it. when i move forward and then go to reverse it cuts out and shuts down for a second. and when i bind up the truck it cuts out and shuts down. but even crawling up a rock it sometimes acts like it is bound up and cuts out. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem or is it just the way this is suppost to work. any adivse will help alot thanks..

When using a BEC make sure to pull the red wire on your esc plug. Also what voltage is your BEC set at?? I know when i had a low voltage set the servo required too much power and cut power to my rig for a bit. I set BEC in my mini at 5.8V and my Berg is 6.1V

I run my BEC to the servo only. I use the Y harness method...power from BEC goes into the servo and just the Signal wire runs from the ESC to it.

This insures that the servo gets it's full power without working the ESC.
