Default Mascman's DMG SNIPE V2

I mis-spelled it in the title!!
I really wanted a DMG Snipe V2. I picked up a used V1 and really liked it, which made me want the V2 even more! Zorlac makes some incredible stuff.

V1

Jerry PMd me a pic when it was ready:

I received it on a Friday and really only had Saturday to build it for a comp on Sunday so not many pics of the build.

DMG Snipe V2
Tekin B1R
Holmes 22T Mini Torqumaster - stock pinion
Losi 600 Lipo
Hot racing Aluminum steering parts and lockers
Hitec 615mg servo
Spektrum TX / RX
Castle BEC
Stock 3-link (had my own 4-link, but needs re-worked for this chassis and didn't have the time)
Losi Aluminum shocks set up droop with internal springs and 70wt
Axial beadlocks and Pro-line Chisels.

This chasiss went together very well. I had to use the original 3 link as I had a custom 4-link setup, but the different shock location from the V1 to V2 wouldn't allow me to use it. I didn't have any TT but will probably still go ahead amd make the 4-link work.

The chassis has several shock and link positions, and even with a droop suspension, I had 1 7/8" belly clearance.

I am very happy with this rig as it looks and crawls well. I need to do something different for my wheel weights as the foams don't have hardly any compression because the space is all used up for weights.

The Chisels performed well even though the foams weren't helping them do their job.

The Holmes motor is just awesome! The combo of droop and this powerhouse made it nice to run! I love just blipping the throttle on this and watching it jump!

I am also running the DMG A.L.T. for the LCC and love it too!
If you are thinking of buying a DMG product, you will not be disappointed!!

I think it performed really well for it's first comp...I only managed 7th out of 12, but the winners have all been driving their rigs for a while and have had a chance to learn them. I was just winging it as it had never been on the rocks and I was the first one to run.

It's going to be a great little truck with a little tuning. My main concern is getting some form of weight in the tires that doesn't cause the foam to bulge...which makes it have no give.

I cleaned it up and took a bunch of pics!

Did you ever end up 4-linking this thing? I'm contemplating buying one.
