| slider motor ideal pinion
like the title says, i put a slider motor in my mrc with a 12 tooth pinion and this thing screams to say the least. its like a supercharger. and dont get me wrong, i like the wheel speed but i dont like the battery life. its about 15 mins being light on the throttle, only an occasional stab to get over steep rock. my question is, should i gear it down or up or something, i know i need new batteries but my run time got cut down by 60%. |

You could try a losi insane motor. It's between a slider and a stock motor.

or go with a frenzy 370 or venom fireball very cheap and with a 11t pinion lots more wheel speed and tourqe for only like 12$ thats including the pinion for a fireball. and they are a direct fit
