Default Replacing the steering links with Lunsford parts

I'm trying to figure out which Lunsford's parts are best for replacing the stock steering links. Here is what I have so far, would love input from those that know better...

LONGER STEERING LINK: This link is between 85MM & 90MM depending where you believe the Rod Ends end. Therefore you will need either

or

SHORTER STEERING LINK (SERVO LINK): This link is between 30MM & 35MM depending where you believe the Rod Ends end. Therefore you will need either

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Turnbuckles-2

or

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...m-Turnbuckle-1

For the Rod Ends I think this is the best option:

Maybe those with some more experience can shed the light on which size works best.

For my tierod I used a 3x82mm turnbuckle from a Stampede. For my draglink I used a 3x40mm button head screw, then cut off the head and enough of the shank to produce the proper length link.

IMHO 4mm steering links are way overkill, particularly for something as small as an MRC, and the more expensive parts (knuckles, servo arm) become the weak link. 3mm will hold up just fine, and after long-term crawling abuse, I'd rather bend a $1 steering link or sheer a $0.10 screw than kill a $16+ steering knuckle.

I received the parts today and boy are they WAY off! 1st like someone else said, 4MM is probably too thick. Next the Traxxas ends I listed where way bigger than the ends the links came with. Both the 85MM & 30MM links are too short. Looks like I will be heading to the post office to ship out my return tomorrow. Any suggestions for what a good replacement to the steering links are is appreciated ;)
