Default Front Weight

Is anyone adding weight to the front wheels like in a 2.2 or Super? If so how much?

LOL, 2oz is all I could fit inside each of the stock wheels without removing the tires. I have 2oz. more on the servo plate though.

I was unhappy with the amount of space the weight took up in my Axial wheels...seemed like it made the foams baloon out and not gice like I wanted them to.

I got some thick washers to use in place of the beadlocks. They weigh 2.5 to 2.7 oz. each.

I have wideners on the front, so I will run the washer weights on each side of the wheel, and may out one washer on the outer face of the rear wheels. Just blasted them and painted them silver...not ugly, but not pretty either.

What about the drivetrain. Are you using stock, would all that weight bog down the motor?

In the front I am running 3.3 ounces per wheel (all six weight) in the Vanquish LH Procomps in the front. The wheels and weight come in at 6.25 ounces before adding in the tire and foam weight.
No weight in the rears but the wheel weights 2.95 ounces.

I used the washers as weights which allows the foams to do their job. Each washers is just over 2.5oz...running 2 washers per front wheel.

Recessed the screws.
