If done properly it eliminates torque twist creating a more stable and predictable suspension!

Also reduces axle swing by lowering the roll center of the axle.

It reduces torque twist and can also help lower COG.

A 4 link seperates the top link mounting points and reduces the amount of twist between chassie and axle that is common with a 3 link ( only one mount for top links )

I'm new to RC crawlers, but my roommate just 4-link his Axial and it made a huge difference. I doesn't have a tendency for the body to "flop" on off camber sections. Its a must in my opinion. I'll be linking my mini very soon.

Unfortunately that is not uncommon......do your research on here and mailorder is your friend and don't be afraid to try different things like moving link mounts inside/outside chassie to see how it changes suspension performance. The point is little changes can teach you how suspension works....and then tweak it to work with your driving style

You can do it with the stock parts. Here's my rear setup using bent stock lower links as uppers, the stock servo plate trimmed down, some Traxxas rod ends and a bit of spare hardware. It made a BIG difference!

The RCBros and other narrow 4 link setups will help, but if you really want to make it handle, trangulate the lower links (narrow at the chassis) and parallel your upper links.
