DMG makes tubers that you can get for under $100.

He uses all aluminum so they are light.

Yes, as do other vendors, but he's asking about the tube chassis from TCSCrawlers.com.

I wasn't aware of too many that use Aluminum to make a lightweight chassis which is why I suggested it.

I took it as he has $100 to spend on a chassis and that he knew of the TCS chassis for that price. I thought the $100 was maybe to indicate a price limit.

Maybe he can reply if he's looking for other options...

645$ US dollars? That's insane. Too bad that shop will close soon from lack of sales.....

MAP: $339.99 for the NC still leaves 305.01 for 1 Lipo, and 1 Charger.

Maybe it's a 60,000Mah one?

I built a TCS Tuber (solid rod) for my son. It is a cool looking tuber, but there is not a lot of adjustments to be made. One mounting hole location for shocks and one mounting hole location for upper links. I found that the droop set up is the only way to run the rig. I used the aluminum Losi shocks, TCS internal springs and 40 wt oil. I used the Lunsford racing grinder links and had about 1.75" of belly clearance. I also made it a four link using Lunsford turnbuckles 2.5" with Traxxis rod ends. You are limited on space to place your electronics. It was quite capable, but my son (he's four) likes the trucks bodies. The tuber chasis is now just waiting to be built again. I would recommend the chasis but would get the tube version over the solid rod.

There is a Snipe in the for sale section for $50.

It's all aluminum, and uses the mini-grappler body...love mine.
