| Help on picking chassis..
I have narrowed it down to a mini nino 2 or a 1.9 Annihilator chassis. Was hoping someone with more experance could chime in here and help me out andgive me their thoughts on them both. I like the price on the Mini Nino @ $40 and the way the skid wraps under the alum side plates but I like the derlin recessed skid and links on the Annihilator. Any help will be greatly appericated. I dont know anything about the chassis you mentioned. but I know this. austin dunn is one hell of a driver. the g3 is his chassis, and many swear by its performance. I to plan to try one. as of yet I have never driven or comped against one. but many in the texas area are making the switch to the gatekeeper's G3 the BWD mini wedge currently gets some love from some texas drivers too. I currently run a dna slingshot and have no complaints whatsoever. the T1E looks good but I have never driven or comped against one. but I know you cant go wrong with a slingshot |

I was looking at the G3 but to be honest I am a very impacient person and love to be different when it comes to RC. I am very new to the crawler thing comming from dual brushless clods on 3s lipos. Hopefully I can slow down enough to give crawling a chance.

[QUOTE=93-306;2275305]I was looking at the G3 but to be honest I am a very impacient person and love to be different when it comes to RC. I am very new to the crawler thing comming from dual brushless clods on 3s lipos. its actually pretty fast paced. at crawlapalooza in 1.9 we had 3 min for 5 gates. if there wasnt any obstacles no problem. you take your time where you got to. and then you haul it to the next problem spot. also, you may want to be different. many do. but why go against the grain. on these little guy's the geometry is so very important. a guy who is testing all the time like gatekeeper will have a chassis you can count on. so I have no doubt it will perform. anybody can design a chassis, hell I'm working on one myself. but I aint comping with it. no I will test, test, and test again. and if it performs as I hope then it will be my comper. till then I will go with what is already proven performers. and these trucks are so cheap you can have 2 and compare. |

I say go with the 1.9 Annihilator chassis The geometry is spot on and it is a proven winner |

I have the 1.9 Annihilator chassis and love it. I would tell anyone to give it a try. The only thing I changed was the servo/4link mount. I made a new one to move the servo back and added a tab to mount electronics on much like the KK chassis. I have picks and hope to post today on a new thread. These minis are just too much fun. |

Well I found a Dinky Chassis and have decided to give it a try. I love the way they look and seem to do pretty well from what people say.

I know you already got a chassis but... The mini nino2 is definately a proven winner!!! I know it's not the cool chassis to run right now. But that chassis design has been in use on the rocks for over a year now and has been completely dominating the 1.9 scene in utah and At rocas rojas last year it completely slaughtered the competition by a long shot. I don't doubt that the gc3 is a great chassis being as who designed it, but if you ask anyone in Utah they will tell you that the mini nino2 is the only way to go! And I am one of those people! |

I have both a sling shot and a gc3. Um gc3 all the way. If you wanna be different design and perfect your own chassis. Otherwise gc3 is it.
