Default Arcain's 1.9 Annihilator Build

So here goes my first build post. I can’t say enough about the reduction of torque twist the 1.9 Annihilator chassis gives. The list of parts used.

MRC NIB for $120
1.9 Annihilator
CKRC AL Wheels (Used with Chisles for $50) 3oz in each front
HB Rovers
HR Wheel Wideners
Losi steel lockers all around
Losi Straight axle
Losi AL C’s and Knuckles
Losi AL threaded shocks
MIP drive shafts
Mongoose Crawler System
Tower Pro 995 Servo
3S Turnigy 500mAh 20C Lipo (Nice $8 lipo)
Spektrum SR3100 Receiver

I shaved down the cups to get more steering but may redrill to correct the ackerman. I cut my own servo mount to move the servo back a bit, to give more the 4 link options (narrower placement) and to add a tab to mount electronics much like the KK chassis have.

Thanks to this site and all who post for giving me the ideas for this build.

Very nice! I also like your strategy of keeping a fugly lid on your nice set up to keep prying eyes away (I kid, I kid)

What are your front uppers attached to at the axle? The servo plate doesnt look like it has a place for the links?

The links attach to the bottom of the servo plate. They are the same length as the rear uppers but they thread into the plate so I don't need a nut on the top side. This allows them to be mounted closer to center.

Ride is at 2.5" and does seem tall but it works. I am running 50wt in all for corners and limited with short internal springs. I may try removing the outer springs and go droop.

One word.... AWESOME!!! The torque and speed are amazing and it is smooth. I'm currently running a 14T pinion. It is no problem to jump a large gap now. I had to shave a bit off the trany case to allow full adjustment of the gear mesh. Dremal with sanding drum did the job.
