| mongoose and stock transmitter
I drive the mongoose micro 18.5T with stock transmitter, stock receiver, cc-bec, hitecv5465 and 2cell lipo. With stock transmitter The mrc drives reverse smoothly.(most of the time) Forward not, than it drives choppy by low speed and the red light is than flashing shortly, this sucks. No control. I did the one touch setup 14 times, no result. With a spektrum DX3R I borrowed and standard losi receiver or with DX3R receiver drives the mrc reverse and forward smoothly. How come the standard transmitter is not working smoothly but it does with the DX3R? The stock losi transmitter drives fine with stock esc and motor have more people had problems like this? |

Is your tranny reversed? As in flipped 180 from the stock mounting?

I had the issue with the flashing red light and jerky movement with my Mongoose system as well. After several reprogramming attempts without success, I tried a different servo. As soon as I switched from a digital servo (HS 5245) to the HS 645 the problem was gone.
