Default Losi and Lipo run times

I was at the LHS and they sold me a small lipo pack to put on my completely stock losi. I did not realize until I was working on my 1/10 axial that I needed to be very careful about ruining lipo's. That being said anyone have a good ballpark idea on the 650 losi lipo and the stock setup? Thanks.

im not 100% sure about what you're asking but if you're asking about how much run time each gets

i have both the stock 1100 mah nimh pack that came with my crawler and a 600 mah lipo i got as a bonus
the nimh pack lasts about an hour maybe a bit more of just crawling around not too much full speed driving
the lipo lasts about 40 mins...

There are two concerns here that jump out for your situation: 1) your stock electronics don't have a Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC), so if you run your Lipo battery down too far you may damage it. Because the power will stay consistent until the battery is ready to die, some guys don't worry about it and watch for a drop-off in power and stop running it when this happens. Some folks add inexpensive LED indicators that show the voltage, and stop when it gets too low. And others have electronics (the ESC) that automatically detect when the Lipo is too low and cuts it off for you. 2) Lipos need to be charged very particularly. It's not hard, they just need to be charged correctly, with a charger meant to handle Lipos. Lipos can be a fire hazard but if you follow a few of the simple rules, they're worth the extra effort. Check out the Electronics Forum for more information.

Default I hear you

I hear you on the run indicator but your concern about killing the battery is really the point of this post. I have a charger that will charge lipo just fine.
