Default Pinion Suggestion

Okay, I need some assistance. I burnt out a Slider motor and have a 26mm 4600kv on the way. Any suggestions as to what pinion to run with a 60T spur?

Well I guess since it's taking 1/10 pinions that means a 12T.:?

Thanks for the tip on the spur gears. The 26MM is said by Castle to be more suited to these type of applications and yea I know it's sensorless, but I have had really good luck w/ Castle in the past.

I would suggest getting a few pinions, say 2 teeth apart
I mean pinions are cheap enough right?
cheaper than fuel back to the lhs or shipping costs.

Currently I have 12 thru 16 in the shaft size required (1/8"), mainly just waiting on the "back ordered" motor to get here and hopefully start tinkering with what I have.

your probably good then. if your motor coming is comparable to the goose
then the 12 I'd say.

I got 2 goose systems now, never been happy with the brake.
I thinks its cuz its brushless myself. it just doesnt have that natural resistance I'm used to.and I'm very picky about some things.

but I have to admit. its done me very well.
lots of speed/power. motor does all I ask of it effortlessly.
the esc however needs more drag brake.

I may look into it. It's just hard to give up on 16 years of prejudice towards a manufacturer.

We will see what the new 26mm does.:? If it bombs, I will definitely try a goose system. I think the slider lasted me all of 20 min total run time.

I have the goose like I said.
I think I'm going to prefer the tekin B1R with a brushed motor over the goose.

I should have the verdict by ecc. I think.
