Is your servo bound up? Do you have another servo to try, maybe it's shorted out inside and causing issues?

Lipo is leaking RUN, RUN NOW, RUN AWAY..... Or throw the lipo away........ Assuming your still alive and havnt been blown up or poisoned by a leaking lipo and that you have another battery to try..... Is it a stock ESC? Does your reciever light turn green and stay on (assuming stock reciever is in there still)? Do you have forwards and reverse ability if you leave the servo unplugged? |

Hmm, im going to state something a bit obvious but just checking, you have got the servo wires the right way round havnt you? Orange to the inside same as the ESC right? If you dont have another servo of some kind you can just plug in to try then it may be worth taking a trip to your LHS and seeing if they have one they can just plug in to check if thats the cause (so take your mrc with you when you go as I thought to do this once with another truck and forgot to take the darn thing with me, got some funny blank looks that day I can tell you). Anyway, Im going off topic, see if you can get another servo to just plug in for testing reasons, doesnt matter if its full size as it wont have any load on it so shouldnt be a problem. Then you will know straight off if its the Reciever or the Servo thats gone nuts. Im leaning towards a servo thats developed a fault inside like maybe a ground fault of some kind which is causing the reciever to light to go on and off like a Las Vegas sign. Check wiring, if ok try any sized servo, if still doing it with different servo then would be a trip for a new reciever I reckon. |
