| MRC and cold
I just bought it and when i take it out in the cold it doesn't want to work. I called losi tech support and they said it was the battery pak. Is this accurate? or is there another problem?

How cold? I live in Nebraska and I have been driving mine outside when it is about 15 degrees with no problems. make sure your batteries are completely charged I guess. with the stock charger it should take about 5 1/2 hours to charge a dead battery.

Fort Campbell, Tennessee? If so I don't see it ever being cold enough there for your MRC to not run because of the temperature! Unless of course maybe it got wet and you let that water freeze and it locked something up.

Your MRC *should* work just fine in sub-zero temperatures. Just curious, does it work fine indoors and then die the second you get it into the cold? Maybe some more info would help!

i live in canada, i play with my mrc even if it's -10 below, now that's cold.. Make sure that your battery is fully charged and put some hand warmers in it and your good to go. BTw, toss that charger of your's and get a better one. |
