Default Mongoose

I just installed the brushless ESC and motor All I can say is wow! Very smooth for crawling in the exponential profile and massive wheel speed when needed, it can jump from rock to rock with a blip of the throttle.

Just curious, what gearing are you running? I ran it for a little while with the included 15T pinion and thought it was smooth...then I got a 13T pinion and it's way better! It still has tons of wheel speed too.

so you think the mongoose made more of a difference in smoothing things out than the futaba with stock esc?

I would say yes. You know the difference between the brushless on the LCC and the brushed on my mini. The LCC is alot smoother. Plus I think the brush's are due for changing on the mini stump puller. I think that 3s got the best of them. Haha
