| New homemade variable link Sorry about the blury pictures and the weigh that they are up. Any ways the is how they came out with no paint on them yet. do i need to connect them so they move as one? Recognize the back ground? LOL |

i think you should leave them separate. i dont think it would work the way you want it to if you made it one solid piece. you do want them to move, correct? if they are not supposed to move then yes i would make it one solid piece! i hope this helps!

| i was not thinking one solid peice but i have see were peaple have connected them so that they move as one

what are the advantages of this? im more up and up on 1:1 OR suspensions, but i just dont see the benefits here other thana bit more droop .... but where there is undampened droop, there is undampened compression and i just done see that could be helpful in many situations. explanations? |

well really i am new to this and i noticed peaple making these for there 2.2 rigs so i thought i would make a pair for this. I really dont know what the advantage is.

Well the concern i would have is i unloading on inclines. If they are not tied together you would also have issues with sidehilling since the upper link could unload as well. My best example would be unfilled shocks without springs. I have been having trouble with my current setup unloading and i am throwing springs in the shocks to set it up for droop. Other than that you would get TONS of flex which again could cause issues. Now i will say that is some great innovation and thinking outside the box. looks preety good to me i think the truck needs to be a little bit lower to the ground but other then that the build looks good |
