well i thought it was about time i started a build thread for my mrc. it only stayed stock for a short time and then the modding bug struck. when i first got it i just did the simple free mods like move the battery, electrics and drop the body then i started spending a bit of cash on a few upgrages, bought a load of 3racing stuff, some losi shocks, new wheels and tyres etc. changed the set up of the original battery to lower the COG a bit and then added a hitec 5245mg servo |

Cheers matey thought i'd add a small update, still nothing special but it's slowly turning into a capable little crawler 4link rear 1st mock up, using styrene rod, somehow it hasn't broken yet full flex limited 1/4" internally and 1/8"externally after frying two hitec 5245MG servos, 1 ESC and the BEC in the second ESC I'm now running an ansmann 6KG servo with CC BEC then when i feel like a bit of scaler(ish) action i fit the SJ shell, thought it would be good to have a smaller version of my 1:1 rooftop crawling the 1:1 Last edited by scottiej; 04-22-2010 at 06:09 AM. |
