Take off the shocks.....

Articulation is not that important. 45-50 degrees is about all you need.

It was sarcasm

You don't neem more articulation. As I said, 45-50 degrees works great.

You want to limit it if you want to do any kind of competitive crawling.

why to you need more? like hurley said you don't need them that much articulation, your crawler is gonna be all over the place, but if you insist take the shocks off.

I think out of the box the truck is like a slinky. it has way too much articulation.I dont remember the shock mounting options on the stock chassis. but if you move the shocks back it should loosen up the front.
you can also look to see if you shocks/links are hitting anything at full articulation. maybe place a washer in the right spot to squeze out a little more motion.

but I would advise you limit your shocks.you can use a piece of fuel tubing over the shock shaft,or better yet a spring. limit your motion.
mine is around 35-45* thats plenty. its more predictable aswell.

if its your right front try to stiffen your left rear shock and vice versa

not always the same tire. have all the spacers out of the springs too.

if your shocks have spacer you can use those to stiffen your shocks.
I would add some wieght to the front.

and think of this, more articulation will not prevent your tire from lifting.
infact it may magnify the problem. small adjustments in the shocks.
if you make the truck really stiff you will probably find the tires stay planted better.but it may not crawl better.

try stiffening the opposite rear shock of the tire that is lifting.
and try to play with your steering to settle your truck back down.

you'll get it.
and save up for another chassis.

You should look into getting a T1E mini Rockshow chassis for the MRC

at one point i had almost 90 degrees of articulation on mine and it did more harm than good, all it would ever do was get twisted up under torque, lift wheels and end up rolling

now I have limited each shock internally by 1/4" and it crawls a lot better.

lifting wheels doesn't make much difference to a crawlers ability if you have lockers. you could have all 4 wheels on a surface and still not find enough traction to do certain things. it's more about choosing the right line at the end of the day

i got the skulz v2 chassis and mouted the shocks on the farthest hole and it has over 90 degrees.. articulation is the key to a capable crawler, no matter what they say
