i dont think its really possible to do so unless you modifiy the axial Axles to fit the MRC.. But ive read someone has Used the Traxxas Axles as a replacement.

The trick would be to get the output shafts to mate with the Traxxas U-joints. It is a lot easier when you are going from a larger out to a smaller U-Joint (Example: E-Maxx tranny to 'pede drivelines), but when you are going from a smaller output to a larger U-Joint you have to find a way to fill the gap, JB wled, maybe? Why would you want to? It would be easier to get a set of Axial axels and tranny and just shorten the WB.

With that said, build what you are thinking about and put together a build thread, we love to see custom work.

Traxxas villain u-joints will work on the Traxxas / Axial drive shafts but have the smaller output shaft hole. Other than that, making some new links to work and you have Axial axles on your MRC.

I already have traxxas driveshafts on my MRC, so I figued I got a head start there. That seems to me like the only troublesome part of the swap(not really though). Links will be easily converted.

Why am I doing this??
I was thinkin, it is kinda like throwing full width axles in a Toyota or throwing Toyota axles in a Samurai. I also want to build a Jeep Tube chassis, and it would be easier with wider axles.

Will start a build thread as soon as the axles arrive

That is very cool! I am going to try these thing as full width, but if they end up being too wide, I may attempt it......

Oh boy! These things are huge!!! An MRC axle with tires on it, almost fits between the tires on my axial axle.

I don't think I will be running my new 1.9 Rovers anymore(little too short)
