Default Smallest good Battery

Another battery questions but this one is different. I think. I believe the rule book will allow for a 3s lipo now. If I am right what is the smallest lip you guys have run that still gives you decent run times? Basically I am asking about small as it will fit inside the a tight chassis better.

Yea I am also looking for something similar in size to the Losi but maybe a little bigger (800mah or so) and a lot cheaper!

you can check out hyperion but some of their packs are long i use their 1600mah 35c batts in my lcc but you may have to put them on the front links or the side of the chassis if possible. I used to run a 1200mah on the back plate when i had the rc bros skulls chassis

Shoot. You guys are running some pretty big packs. i was thinking about shooting for a smaller pack. Maybe even like a 400 or something. I am aiming at as small as possible but I am worried about run times.

I am running a 800mah pack now but it is way to big to have options for mounting. I am getting about 20-30min run time with the xcelorin system and 16t pinion. I just need to find something slimmer than the turnigy packs I am currently running. Seems like the rhino packs are thinner but similar in the other dimensions but they dont offer as many sizes.

I may just make some saddle packs out of like 400mah packs so I can have more mounting options.

I am running a Thunder Power 2S 325mah 45C pack for comp. It fits next to my servo on the front axle. It is good for three or four courses but that is about it. I have two of them and switch them after two courses.

I'm running this batt

http://hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store..._20C_Lipo_Pack

I have had them for about 3 months now and I was running them in my crawler and my Mini-t. Good long runtimes of about 35-40 mins with the crawler. 2 of the batts have since crapped out on me though. I like the Rhino batts better than the Turnigy for my Minis

Cool

forget about big packs, parallel small ones. i run 2x rhino 2s 360 mah's or 2x 2s 300 pz mini cub packs in parallel. makes for better fit, can mount packs together or separately for better cg.
