Default ***Dinky R/C "Sport" Series 1.9 Comp Chassis***

The "Lil' Sport"

1.9 class comp chassis

These are just the first prototypes from the laser.

Shown here with it's cousin,
The "Sport".
Designed for the 2.2's

Design features include:

Super narrow skid profile

Inboard lower link mounts

Symmetrical design,
Allowing running in either direction...?

Bodiless configuration,
may also be an option soon.

We may have these Available in
a multitude of Stages as well.

Such as...

Upper & Lower link sets,
Custom 4-link axle mounts,
and a variety of Tube Tops,
as well as the Bodiless set-up.

These chassis have been tested,
and held their own against the rest.
Keeping me at the top of the local scene,
for quite a while,
in both 1.9 & 2.2 classes.

So keep watching,
you never know what's next...

Since I'm seriously laking in the axle department,
I Finally got one of these put together
for a local club member.
Figured I'd show off some pics...

Just a sneak peek as to what I have in mind to help with
the ugly bodiless comp rig syndrome...
and those Motoworks wheels just look great!

Still needs some more tuning, but it performed really well on it's initial test.

The "Half-Droop" set-up is preferred on this chassis,
Working the compromise between CG, and break-over clearance.

Still need to final the design of the front 4-link/servo/battery plate.
As we all know, you run out of room on these things quick,
when trying to add your equipment.
That will also be solved with the bodiless kit,
and some might even choose to use it, even with their body.

Base Chassis kits available thru Dinky R/C shortly.
New Bodiless kit should be released by late-January.
It will be a completely new approach.
No more driving footballs built like double cheese burgers!

Stay tuned!

Hmmmm, maybe I'll build a 1.9 comp rig for Helmet to carry around?

I love this chassis, it looks so organic.

Hey, thanks for the comments guys.
I hope to have another run of these made within the next couple weeks.
Still working out the details on the side skins on the bodiless version.
And white could be a possibility. When these are back in stock, I will post up here and Dinky R/C's Facebook page.
Stay tuned!

I very much like this chassis. I hope you have some of them available soon. I'm curious to what the bodiless version will look like. Hope you post some pictures of that soon too.

More of these chassis should be in-stock soon.
Still have yet to finish the bodiless version,
just too many irons in the fire right now.

As for handling, comp season around here has yet to start.
But I drove this rig to many victories for 2 seasons straight!
Top 3 performance at every comp.
It, as well as the 2.2 version, provide some very predictable
handling. Somewhat limited articulation is built in, and compared to alot of other chassis, tends to help tracking, and keeps the rear end following the front.

As soon as they show up, I'll post up!

Thanks for the interest!
