Default Dry gearbox

Hi All

I’ve just taken the gearbox apart in my new Mini Pro and its bone dry inside is this ok to run with or should I put some light grease or oil in it?

Ya, you should lube it before any real crawling.

Yeah these are nylon/plastic I have some light silicon grease that I’ve used on plastic ball link in the past so I know I doesn’t eat the plastic so I wonder if I can use this.

Some light silicon grease or white lithium grease should be fine. The nylon gear is self lubricating (I think), but will last better and be a touch smoother/quieter with some grease.
