Default insane 370 motor safe for stock esc

I was just giving a stock motor a stock esc and a insane 370 motor and the stock motor seems to be junk just barly moves my stock mini and cant crawl up nothing it just stops. So i want to know if a insane 370 will fry my esc or not so i can get my crawler rolling again.

I bet it would be fine. I am running an AE RC18 Super 370 in mine and it runs great. You will love the extra wheel speed!

the 370 should be fine, what the Stock ESC really hates is batteries. Mine seemed to run well of NIMH but when i ran a quality LIPO batt (watching for overdischarge) the esc went quickly.

So the insane 370 seems to be just fine on my stock Esc but I need to get a lower pinion gear to bring back it's low end power again
