I use 2s zippy lipos on mine. They are tiny and don't weigh much at all. Depends on what you are doing with it. Comp or bash. Obviously if you are bashing you want it to last longer than 6-10 minutes and you would want something larger. Mine are comp packs and are 325 mah.

As for a charger I went ahead with the turnigy brand. Hasn't let me down but there are better!!

Lots of choices. Most of us use 2S LiPO, somwhere around 325mah 45C+.

I use ThunderPower LiPO's (my favorite Elites don't come in this size) for the MRC.

I use a Venom Pro Charger for all my LiPO's, I've been very happy with it.

the lipo batteries you get for the mrc kind of depends on where you are going to be putting the battery. I run the losi lipo "cube" battery. It sits on the front upper link mount/ servo mount. Not everyone runs their battery up front like that though. If you are planning on running a setup like that sometimes you can find a losi battery/charger combo for $20-$30 bucks. I picked up two of them 6 months ago. It's just a cheap wall charger, no balancing, but I have been using the same two batts and chargers for 6 months with well over a hundred cycles each, no problem. I run my mini alot. Other small lipos (under 800mah 2s) will fit on the upper front links. You can make a tray with lexan and secured with zip ties and put the battery there. The higher the battery is mounted in the chassis , and the larger it is will start hurt the performance on these little rigs too, something to keep in mind. Good luck
