a few questions

im new to crawlers and r/c in general (i have a slash) anyway i about to make my frist purchase its done to a used mini crawler with upgradeds and radio, or a NEW venom crawler kit. are there comps for the minis sized crawlers? or is the mini more of a backyard crawler?

Unless your local club is running shafties, you won't have much use for the Creeper. Lots of clubs run 1.9 class with MRC's, and if you don't want to comp you can still bash with it just about anywhere or even build a scaler out of it...The MRC is one of the most versatile rigs I've owned...

cool it seems with the more research i do the mrc has a huge following so i think that has answered my question. plus i went ahead a won a auction so next should have my MRC!!!

At least one of the guys around here runs a creeper in sportsman (Viper 6171) so yeah you could run it, but he had to do alot of upgrades to it for sure. We have about 6-8 guys running minis in the local scene. Here a link to our local thread. I run a MRC and love it. May get a sportsman or a 2.2 ( just bought a 2.2 beetlejuice frame). But will never stop running the mini, too much fun.
