Default Eyeball Engineering MRC D-Mount

If there is enough interest I may start producing these. Basically just a scaled down rear link mount I will be offering for the AX10. What say you? Anything you would change?

Cut from delrin, you can mount them forwards, backwards, right side up or up side down.

I like it!

Only thing I would change is space out the holes just a bit more for a bit more beef (kinda like the white one) and round the corners (like the white one) and maybe do a 2.5mm (or 3/16") hole so that M3 screws thread in, and M2 screws pass right through. (Or user can drill out to 3mm/1/8" if they want)

These would work perfect for my Tiny TJ Terror build.

I'm in, put me down for a pair in black.

I like them...id buy some. I have 7 mrcs so I'll have a use or 2 for them. I like everything that monkeyracer said. They look badass upside down like the white one. What colors would you have available? Black, white and?

I have been running my own home made version of that also and it works. Works pretty good in fact.

For those of you that are interested, please go to my vendors thread (linked in my sig) and post up that you want one so I can add you to the list and get a feel for how many need to be made. Be sure and tell me you want the MRC version. Meanwhile, I'll work to get them designed the way you would like them.

More beef is not an issue. I've got a few spaced that close running being tested on AX10s and they've held up brilliantly, so no worries about that.

Rounded corners are a definite.

My only issue with threaded holes are the potential to strip out. Then I've got to worry about people complaining about it being a piece of crap because it did that.

Black for sure, white when I can confidently buy some that will take dye. The last few bits that I have bought were kind of hit and miss.

The aluminum version was a hit with the Axial guys, so I have no reason to believe they won't cross over here. The black one pictured has actually been on a MRC for a few months now and as far as I know its been doing well.

I like it as well! Great little piece ya got made there..
Leave enough beef for us 3mm guys to drill bigger holes.. with or without threads, it should have a nut on the screw thru it.. my .02 most should be that smart.. doesn't reflect ur product, just the person using it..

Thanks! Don't forget to sign up in my vendors thread if you want one.

The two in the pic are drilled for 3mm bolts.

I appreciate the offer, but the testing phase was over a couple of years ago.

You're gonna have to pony up the cash just like everyone else.

At the same price... maybe... but I'd still prefer the black delrin personally. Nothing wrong with the aluminum, just like the delrin better.

I'm going to guess that delrin would be the most popular so you don't need to make multiple versions... It'll save time "But.... If you could make a Carbon Fiber version I know I'd be down for that

Aluminum is a bit cheaper than delrin in bulk, but takes more time to machine. I can't see it being more expensive overall.

Carbon fiber would be cool, but I don't have the resources to make one that would be usable. It would look pretty, but that is about it.

What I may end up doing, since the requests for these versions are not as strong as those for the AX10, is make them one at a time, to order, at home. The only difference between me doing it and a cnc doing it would be time (more) and surface finish (not quite as good). That way I can do black, white, or aluminum without having to run big batches of each to keep costs down.

If you guys are cool with that, I can get started on them fairly quickly.

Picked up some stuff to get started on these at home. I'm planning on some black, a couple white, and a couple in aluminum. I will be drilling them out to 2.5mm and can add threads if requested.

If you want anything other than black, let me know. I should be getting started on these this afternoon after I finish shoving food in my face.
