Default Motor question??

I've read a little bit about these heli motors and would like to know if these are the ones some people have been using?

Exactly! I have one in my daughter's rig, sent a few to buddies, and will be using one soon in mine. I will be selling these direct from Xtreme soon. Waiting on username and password to their site to order.

That's good to hear because I just purchased two. I hope the stock maxstone esc will handle one of these and a 2s lipo

My daughter's rig is running this motor on 2s, stock Exceed ESC, stock Exceed gearing. Runs a tad warm after a full 800mah, but fine for a comper.

I have one in my pro on a 460 mah 3S,works well. It gets a bit warm though when it`s working.
Great low end and very good wheel speed.

Has anyone done a water break in on their motor or have you just installed them and put them right to use?

I have one but am switching out to a brood frenzy to try out. It works well especially for wheel speed but mine was getting really hot on 2s

I did a water break in with my daughter's Xtreme motor. Two D sized batteries for 3v, run under water till the water turns light gray, clean with motor spray, lube bearings. Haven't done mine yet. but the comm on her motor looks brand new still, after about 8 packs. Brushes and comm seem to be of quality construction.
