| Transmission gears hard to find??
Ok so my son was out wheelin yesterday and he stripped the gears in the transmission. So I thank well that sux but no big deal will go ahead an order a new set. Go to trusty ol Ebay and there is not a single set on there. Anybody know where I can find a set?? |

The crawl space in denver keeps stuff like that stocked and would probably ship it to ya if your not in the area.

Best option is to pick up the HR trans gear set AND another stock plastic set. Use the plastic bottom gear with a set of the Pro steel center lockers, the HR billet intermediate gear, the stock brass top shaft gear, and a dab of white lithium grease on all three. Been running this same mix-n-match combo in all my rigs over the last few years. Have only torched one gear set since. Failure was still in the HR middle gear (due to the brass top gear chunking up over time), but it's the most reliable/idiot proof setup I've found. Short of wearing them out, you really shouldn't break anything. Also, try the Vaterra Slick Rock gear set. New part number and brand name, same old MRC parts... |

The VTR212020 is what you're looking for. Rc Recycler has a couple Exceed MaxStone transmission which are fairly similar: rc-recycler.com/exceed-rc-maxstone-10-87t-locked-transmission.html The HSP Kulak also has the same transmission as the MaxStone. |
