| Been a while... Hello Again
Been a long time, but i'm back into the 1.9 crawling game (at least for recreation). Man i can't believe the lack of support for the Losi MRC now! I'm on the hunt for some Zero Ackerman knuckles and no one seems to make them anymore nor can i find any decent 1/18th (8-9" wb) lexan bodies, is this correct???? anyway, here's my rig. Losi MRC RCBros Chassis RCBros Shocks with miniT springs & 35wt losi oil Weighted stock wheels Hitec 645MG steering servo Aluminum horn threaded rod steering linkages Aluminum diff lockers Shaved stock dog bones and notched stock knuckles Losi metal center diff HB Rovers HH Mini TorqueMaster 22t Sidewinder Micro 1000mah 2s Lipo Wide Hexes Losi Bronko body Last edited by ixer; 06-25-2014 at 05:47 AM. |

Nice older rig man! Been a while since I've seen some of those parts. That's the old Mixer chassis, correct? Glad to see people pulling these back outta storage for fresh builds/wheeling time. Now, lack of support for the MRC? No way! Most of the parts you'll really need can be found under Vaterra part numbers now. You probably won't find a set of the zero ackerman knucks any time soon as Losi stopped producing them, and I'm guessing Vaterra can't see the need because of various "frankenaxle"/AR60/XR steering mods being done now. As for bodies, you'll just have to dig a little deeper. They're still around, and finding them usually involves already knowing their part numbers. Things have changed a bit with the minis, but parts ARE still around and the boards here at RCC have you covered. Happy trails! |

May not find Losi's zero-ack knuckles, but look up EverettY's knuckles. They're made out of brass, so they automatically add weight down low. And they're made to hold weights, too. There's a thread on here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look for it. Well...that and I'm at work. Glad to see someone getting back in the 1.9 game, though! Need to bring it back to life. |

I've run 3-4 packs back through, man I forgot how much fun this is!!! Yeah, mixer chassis. Still works great so, for now, I just want to continue where I left off. Eventually maybe go bodiless, used to like the mini mantis but I see that's not around anymore either... Lol, oh well I'll keep trying to catch up! Thanks for the complements and assistance!! |
