With the mounting holes on the bottom of the housing it looks more like the exceed 1/18 housing.

thats exactly what it is pretty sure the housings are interchangable, not sure if that was confirmed or not. |

Aluminum sucks when trying to drag it over rocks, sticks to it. I'd stick with the plastic housings, they slide much better.
