Default Brooke's Bug...

Just a photo dump for the time being. Will fill in the blanks later.

Basically, I built this car for my daughter's 4th birthday, she's been mashing it for almost 3 years now, and now it's time to get dirty and give my little girl's car some love.

As it sits now. Filthy, in need of a good cleaning, and quickly finding lots of loose/worn parts.

More to come soon...

So, just a basic specs list at this point...

Exceed Maxstone16
Stock ESC
Losi Radio (swapped it because she finally wore out the potentiometer in the stock TX)
Traxxas 2056 WP servo (she wore out the stock mini servo, but NEVER broke it)
Extreme 380 Heli Motor (14/60 gearing, runs warm but never hot)
Cheap HK LiPo buzzer (no LVC on the stock ESC)
Stock radio tray replaced with a piece of 1/8" lexan (still heavy, but lower)
Lexan battery tray on stock front y-link
Zippy 800 2s packs
DP rear 4 link mount and cheesy home brew rear uppers
Outboarded shocks at the axle, still inboard at the chassis
Bent stock front and rear links (fronts for tire clearance, rears for clearance)
JunFac "red" wideners
Pro-Line MERV Bug body
All anodizing stripped and parts polished
Some plastic parts painted pink to suit her "style"

And almost 3 years later...it all needs redone. A few things will be modded this time around, but expect the car to remain mostly as it is. I really want to keep this cheap, simple, and reliable. Just needs a few "updates."

I'm looking forward to this build, The plan for my MRC is pretty similar, also that Bug body rocks in gold

That gold is actually a pearl purple with gold behind it. The combination of the transparent pearl with the gold backing makes it change from gold-green-champagne pink in the sunlight. Behind all that is a black backing to make the paint solid. I hate light shining through my brand new bodies in pics.
