Dravpnir tries to build something small, again... Mine will be darned-near an exact copy of his. The only major changes being LOTS of blue printed parts, aluminum links VS his aluminum/carbon uppers and ti lowers, and I'll be running 4.25" Rovers VS his reduced Voodoos.

The chassis works good with the DravTech axles and the cut down SCX10 shocks. But, before I release it to the public I need to verify that it works with "normal" MRC axles and shocks first. My hope is to be able to release most of the parts (axles, knuckles, weight holders, wheels, chassis, etc...) at the same time. Right now the time frame looks like I would be able release these parts within 3 month's. Perhaps earlier, but hopefully not later. I am also looking into to get more of the DravTech steel spools manufactured and being able to offer modified Axial shafts for the axles to be able to offer a so complete package as possible. This however requires a big chunk of $ so it will take a while for me to gather the sums needed. |

Hey Brian, got a package in the mail today, thanks. Now I can try out the changes I made on my mini. Did you get the gun drilled screws? Will they work for your proto type project? Ernie |

That motor should treat you well. If you like it shoot me a PM and we'll see about getting a few brand new ones headed your way. And yes, I got the screws and they'll work just fine for what I need. Thanks a ton for the lathe work!

Well, I haven't put much time in on this rig in a while due to a few things. Budget restrictions, time, and the fact that Tobias needed to take care of paying customers and team driver's needs first have pretty well halted things. But...and there's always a but, that's about to change. Yesterday I was surprised to find a box, a good sized box too, sitting in my mailbox. Whatever could be inside? A full set of 1.9 DravTech Cyclones Panels for the SuDu Zero, as well as panels for my SuDu Pro DravTech CF 380 motor spacers Front DravTech axle servo/link mount plate Rear DravTech link mount Front CF weight holders for DravTech mini knuckles Rear CF weight holders All the necessary bearings and balls required for the knuckles And some BAD ASS Swedish candy! Thank you Tobias @ DravTech for everything! The more parts I get here on hand the more eager I get to see what this thing will really do. Seeing it all in the CAD program is one thing, but I can't even begin to describe the feeling you get the first time you see things you have worked on come to life. Honestly, all of it has been an experience that can't be bought. Chassis and wheels are assembled already. Pics tonight... |

It is surely something special to see something for the first time in real life something you have worked on for so long. I am sorry I took so long before I could send you your parts. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do and thanks for all the work and hours you put into the design Btw, how did you like those "Patroner" candy

In all honesty, I haven't posted the pics because I have been too sucked into my Twin Hammers. I know, terrible excuse. I'll get after it today, and get some posted. Don't stress the timeline though buddy. You and I discussed this at-length, and you shouldn't feel bad at all. That Patroner candy is something else though. The chocolate was excellent, the Cola Flaskor candies we're awesome. But the Patroner candy...I couldn't even get my kids to eat it. Lol. Thanks for everything! |
