Don's New MRC Build...BW Mini Wedge LP2.0 Plus More New Parts

Well, over the last several weeks, I've seen an uptick in MRC parts sales after a long dry spell...so I figured now makes a great time to release some updates to the comp dominating Mini Wedge chassis lineup, as well as bring some new and some other updated old MRC products back to market.

Additionally, we are now tooled up to produce our Mini Wedge delrin skid plates in house...which means all of the kits in this lineup now have nice skids as part of the kits! See image below for the skid.

First parts in this thread will be a new super light 1.9 bead-lock I've been working on, which weigh in at just 18 grams with rings and stainless hardware/24 grams with SLW hub and stainless hub hardware These consist of a 1/2" wide delrin rim (also will make 3/4" available) and G10 rings (plan to offer in Alum and CF also). I will say, I did some searching and didn't see any wheels currently on the market using this specific bead-lock design...if I missed it, I apologize and ask you please let me know as I am not interested in making something the same way someone else already is.

Stay tuned as we are also working to bring back a blast from our past...the BW MRC Motor Plate...slightly tweaked tho.

Yeah, those Mini motor plates have been asked about a ton since I last had some produced...but the shop making them and others I had quote wanted a good bit more than I was selling them for...now I'm finally set up to hopefully produce a batch in house...so I've made some minor tweaks and hope to have some made up this weekend. Making the skids means I can also consider finally finishing up the Wicked Cricket/Baby Mantis

The biggest thing I'm doing on the Pro/Low Pro is putting them on a diet and updating to titanium links with g10/cf sides, new servo mount, and rear link mount...plus I'm doing a new barely legal dub cab and a brand new optional cab for the Low Pro.

what's up my friend...long time no talk! Although pretty well absent from the forums, I've remained pretty consistent on rc part sales the entire time. I have noticed that although sales have been fairly steady, many of the people I've been selling to don't do build threads and many aren't even aware of rcc.

No no no. Someone needs to make a Sensored brushless esc for the mini mongoose motor. Novak's have gone to shit over the past few years. Their motors are ok, the esc's suck ass and like to smoke and turn into bonfires. I have a Novak 18.5 mini on a Xcelorin ESC and I love it. Plus, I can run 3s.

Finding a brushless 380 size crawler motor seems impossible. There are a few 1/10 ESCs that run the little guys but the motors seem to be the issue.. When I pull the trigger on a Slick Rock I may end up staying brushed with a Brood Frenzy/Tekin B1R combo.. May do a Timbuk to leave brushless on the table... Need to sell a TC before anything happens though..

It actually doesn't. We have one here at work and were curious so we opened it up. It has a little dust cover you have to take off and the adaptor is sold separately. Or at least that's the way it is when you buy the motor/esc combo.
